University student stabbed to death

Tim Sydney Aomba, a student from the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) main campus is no more.

He was stabbed as he was heading home on Friday night. According to Citizen digital, he was from Nairobi town (CBD) and he alighted at Juja. He was walking to his house which is close to school and there is where he was attacked and stabbed.

Tim was stabbed near the heart by thugs who probably wanted to steal from him. He took a path in between one of the apartments known as Skyline and the Coca-Cola depot and that is where he was attacked.

According to the report, Tim was trying to run away from the thieves but he couldn’t go that far because he was losing a lot of blood. Tim fell in front of a shop which belongs to a woman who is quite familiar with the JKUAT students. She put him on a bodaboda and was rushed to the hospital but he had lost too much blood and so he couldn’t make it alive and was pronounced dead on arrival.

The body of the deceased was moved to the Kenyatta University Morgue awaiting a post-mortem scheduled for Tuesday this week. His belongings were taken to Juja Police Station.

Tim was an active football player for his school’s American Football team, the JKUAT Sparrows.
