Paul Pogba has been “offered” to four clubs this summer, including Manchester City, as Manchester United ponder selling the midfielder.

The France international scored twice, just 24 hours after Man City boss Pep Guardiola dropped a sensational bombshell that he was offered Pogba in the winter transfer window.

The City chief, hitting back at comments made by Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola, said: “Two months ago he offered me Mkhitaryan and Pogba to play with us.

“Comparing [me to] a dog is bad – it’s not good. He has to respect the dogs.”

Now the Daily Record claim that United’s offer of Pogba remains on the table, while Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid and his former club Juventus have also been contacted.

The report claims PSG are “interested” in signing the midfielder, but are aware of any potential financial restrictions and are “exploring the feasibility of a deal”.

As a result, Raiola “has been in contact with a group of clubs” who could not only afford the player, but also accommodate him into their side.

United were said to be open to selling Pogba at the turn of the year, with the midfielder’s relationship with manager Jose Mourinho reportedly at an all-time low.

The 25-year-old was dropped by Mourinho in January and February, with Scott McTominay taking his place in a Premier League game against Huddersfield and the Champions League last-16 second leg against Sevilla.

But his form has turned around of late, scoring twice in the 3-2 victory over Manchester City and helping drive United to wins over Arsenal and Bournemouth.

Mourinho and Pogba have both denied their relationship is strained. Speaking to French broadcaster TF1 he said last month: “Not at all! He’s my coach. I respect all his choices.

“I’m playing less. It’s something that’s not happened to me before. In my young career, I’ve always played for 90 minutes and haven’t found myself on the bench. But here we are, it’s happening.”
