Otiende Amollo Collapses In Siaya

 

Rarieda MP, Otiende Amollo on Saturday collapsed at a function in Alego, Siaya County.

The lawmaker was attending the burial of the son of former MP Oloo Aringo when he collapsed in his chair.

Witnesses say that Otiende was just about to read his speech. He has been rushed to the Aga Khan hospital, Kisumu for treatment.

ODM Secretary General, Edwin Sifuna in a statement says that the incident was caused by what doctors say is as a result of fatigue.

Sifuna has assure Otiende’s constituents and Kenyans that the MP is in a stable condition. He has also asked the public to desist from ‘unwarranted speculation that could cause panic and despair to his family.’
