Lupita Nyong’o tours Kisumu

 

 

Hollywood actress and Oscar Award winner Lupita Nyong’o, also daughter to Kisumu Governor paid Kisumu a surprise visit over the weekend, on Saturday.

Accompanied by investors and her aides, the unannounced visit came at a time when her movie ‘The Black Panther’ is still making headlines in the lakeside city.

In a closed door meeting, the actress together with the investors met her father, Prof. Anyang’ Nyong’o and discussed at length matters of art in Kenya and most importantly Kisumu.

Under hawk-eyed security, not even the media was allowed from either taking photos or interviewing her.

Among the places Lupita visited on the visit were the Goan Hall, Kisumu Museum and the Eco Lodge art centers where she engaged a number of art performers including dancers and models.
